Even I don't fond of doing that check-in thingy on FB, but I did take a picture and posted on FB. And my friends found it weird for me to spend my weekend at Temerloh. Yes, they did sound surprise and asked me why go to Temerloh?
Before the tunnel. Inside the tunnel.
Evil inside the car. The road of Karak highway.
Is Temerloh that weird? Or maybe because it is not an ordinary tourist attraction.
Thanks to Ahjumaa the GPS who showing us the way. In between a hill.
Skies that evening. Beautiful wasn't it? It was getting dark.
However, one might surprise that it is kind of hard to find available hotel room as we decided to spend night there. Not that Temerloh has lack of hotel. Surprisingly no.. Sri Malaysia is one of the hotel that has a branch there. But it was full that weekend. So did other hotels that we had some faith on their quality
(just based on the internet search, visitors comments and the hotels' name itself). Others like rumah tumpangan this and that, we kind of put it out of list. hehehe :P Maybe because of school break, so most of the hotels were full. Luckily we succeed in getting 2 rooms at one decent hotel. What its name again? Forgot liao~ ^^;;
hotel's room.
By the way, what am I doing there? I tagged along Syida for a wedding ceremony one of her relatives. A cousin was it?
Along the way to the Felda.
Wedding theme was black and white.
We drove there in Kuro leaving my precious red cherry behind kekeke~ and I was the driver. That was my first time driving to the east side of semenanjung, using Karak highway (secretly prayed that we won't drive at night, blame the horror movie that use the same name as title even though I never watch it) and Pantai Timur expressway (am I getting the name correct, btw?). The journey took around 2 hours to reach Temerloh, if minus the time we stopped at Genting Sempah, maybe less than that kua....
From the google map, we found out that sungai Pahang is in Bandar Temerloh. It is the longest river in Semenanjung, am I rite? Long time I leave geography behind, please bear with me. It is indeed a very wide river. Unfortunately, not much attraction there... an esplanade is built there but that's all. After roaming around from this end to the other end (with the aim to find a souvenir shop but to no avail. Seriously they should have one), we just headed back to KL.
Again we stopped at Genting Sempah and the meter display showed 80000 on dashboard.
Tunnel, again, heading to KL side.
A lot of interesting signboards we can found along the way, the legal one by the authority.
This is one example of "gerai lemang di hadapan". For me it is interesting because I never
see such legal sign on the highway to north ^_^
Still, do you find it's weird to go to Temerloh? hehehe~
I regret though that my plan for holiday at Penang is cancelled (on my side).
Let's plan some other time, chingu. Maybe to Kelantan, Terengganu or Kuantan? Or maybe Langkawi?
GoodDay!
